Water Base Alkalli Cleaner Controled Foam


Water Base Alkalli Cleaner Controled Foam; It is water based alkali tank and locker cleaning chemical formulated for cleaning heavy pollutants.



It is an alkali chemical used in the cleaning of bulk cargoes such as coal and coal dust, wax, vegetable and animal oils and carbon deposits. It does not contain harmful components such as caustic and nonyl phenol ethoxylates.


The dilution rate varies depending on the contamination rate of the surface to be cleaned. It is advised to start cleaning as soon as possible after discharging the cargo of vegetable and animal oils. Especially in the cleaning of dry vegetable and animal oils, prewashing with hot water should not be done (prewashing with cold water should be done to prevent saponification reaction). If sea water is used during the rinsing stage after cleaning there may be a corrosion risk. It is recommended to rinse after cleaning with fresh water instead of sea water.


1-3% solution is prepared. After the solution temperature is 60-700C, it is circulated for 3-4 hours. Same solution can be used for 3-4 tanks depending on dirtiness degree. After cleaning, surface should be rinsed with plenty of water.


The solution prepared by diluting 1/3-1/9 ratio is sprayed to the locker surfaces with the help of pressure unit. Spraying should start from the bottom of the locker to the top. This application can be repeated depending on the pollution situation. The chemical solution should be expected to react on the surface for 30-40 minutes and rinse with water heated to 60-80°C. Drying of the surface should not be allowed while the chemical solution is kept on the surface. It is suitable for use with sea water.
