Water Based Concentrated Safe Cargo Tank Cleaner

Water Based Concentrated Safe Cargo Tank Cleaner is Non-caustic, safe water based concentrated cargo tank cleaner.
Product Name: UNITEDCHEM-SAFE/PLUS

USAGE AREAS

It is used in crude oil, fuel oil, base oil, petroleum derivatives, mineral oil and fuel cleaning. It is also used for deposit of left by inert gases in cargo tanks. It is suitable for all metals including aluminum, galvanized and zinc silicate coated tanks

USAGE METHOD

The dilution rate varies depending on the contamination rate of the surface to be cleaned. In cleaning of vegetable or animal oil, it is advised to start cleaning as soon as possible after discharging the cargo. Particularly in the cleaning of solid vegetable oils and animal oils, prewashing with hot water should not be performed (prewashing with cold water should be done in order to prevent saponification reaction). Hydrogenated oils should be prewashed with hot water. If sea water is used in the preparation of the cleaning solution, the foam properties of the chemical may be reduced. If sea water is used during the rinsing stage after cleaning, it may cause a risk of corrosion and it is recommended to use fresh water instead of sea water for rinsing.

1 – CIRCULATION METHOD

UNITEDCHEM-SAFE / PLUS is prepared by diluting with 1-3% water. If the solution can be heated to 50-55°C, better cleaning will be achieved. The solution is circulated for 2-3 hours depending on the pollution condition. The solution can be used in other tanks (2 -3 tanks) until the effect is lost. Rinse the tanks with water at a temperature close to the solution being cleaned. NOTE : Pre-wash with cold water to prevent saponification reaction in mineral and mineral oil tank walls with 55-60°C water and vegetable and palm oil cleaning. If sea water is used in the preparation of the cleaning solution, the foam properties of the chemical may be reduced. If sea water is used during the rinsing stage after cleaning, it may cause a risk of corrosion and it is recommended to use fresh water instead of sea water for rinsing.

2 – INJECTION METHOD

1-2% of the prepared chemical solution is directly injected into the tank. If the water temperature is 50-55°C, the better result will be obtained. Cleaning time is 2-3 hours for 1 tank. After cleaning, rinsing operation should be carried out with fresh water.

3 – SPOT POINT CLEANING METHOD

1 / 3-1/4 diluted with water to prepare the chemical solution washing machine. The washing machine does not damage the pump, equipment and apparatus. If the solution can be heated to 55 60°C and injected onto the surface, more effective results will be obtained. It is also suitable for use with cold water. It is expected to react on the surface for about 10 minutes, then it is cleaned with the help of abundant water at a temperature close to the solution temperature NOTE : Pre-wash with cold water to prevent saponification reaction in mineral and mineral oil tank walls with 55-60°C water and vegetable and palm oil cleaning. If sea water is used in the preparation of the cleaning solution, the foam properties of the chemical may be reduced. If sea water is used during the rinsing stage after cleaning, it may cause a risk of corrosion and it is recommended to use fresh water instead of sea water for rinsing.
